Abstract

The concept of 4G health was recently introduced and defined as 'The evolution of m-health towards targeted personalized medical systems with adaptable functionalities and compatibility with the future 4G networks'. One of the primary applications of 4G health is in the social robotics domain. A key challenge in this domain will be the full understanding of the interaction between humans and social robots. In particular in understanding the issues of QoS and QoE in such environments, which contribute to the quality of interaction. In this paper we highlight some of the key challenges and opportunities of human robotics interaction using 4Ghealthtechnologies and their relevant QoS and QoE issues.
