    Abstract

    The UK National Immersion Incident Survey (UKNIIS) is a survey originally run by the Institute of Naval Medicine in the UK. Since the last edition of this book in 2006, an extra 600 cases have been collected giving a total of 1,593 incidents. These have been analysed by scientists at the University of Portsmouth and the US Coast Guard (USCG).
