Project Details

Description

This project will explore the consequences and implications of this disruption for children's language skills, socio-emotional development and educational outcomes. Amid a period of significant stress and atypical social and environmental influences, we are likely to see a widening of the disadvantage gap as a result of missed schooling. Of particular concern is the impact on children at the very early stages of schooling i.e. Reception (YR), Year 1 (Y1) and Year 2 (Y2).
