Discover Economics Conference

We propose to run an in-person event for Y10 students from the local area of Portsmouth, specifically targeting female students and students from state schools who both tend to be under-represented in economics. The event aims to provide participants with information about the subject of economics, career opportunities related to economics, and what it is like to study economics at the university. The event will include two plenary session, Bloomberg activities, interactive games and an opportunities for participants to speak to current economics students at UoP.
