I am a Teaching Fellow on the MSc Psychology course at the University of Portsmouth. My role includes leading on postgraduate employability for Psychology, as well as overseeing teaching for a module and the personal tutoring scheme. I also contribute to teaching across a range of modules and supervise research projects. I am a member of the Centre for Comparative and Evolutionary Psychology research group, where I support ongoing research within the field. My academic background includes a PhD from the University of Portsmouth, an MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Southampton, an MSc in Psychology and Learning Disabilities from the University of Portsmouth, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sussex.

My research interests span human-animal interaction, with a particular focus on dog welfare, behaviour, cognition, and training. I am also interested in Animal Assisted Interventions and human interaction with biomimetic (animal-like) robots.
