Charlotte Steffen

Charlotte Steffen is a PhD Candidate at Portsmouth University who is researching Chinese students in Europe from the 1860s until the 1930s. Within her research she is particularly interested in the cross-cultural transfer of knowledge and its influence on the individual experience and impact on the global culture. She holds a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Tilburg University and a Master in Art & Heritage: Policy, Management and Education from Maastricht University.
