Biography
I completed my PhD at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation in 2024, with a focus on Detector Characterisation for the LIGO gravitational-wave detectors and software development for the PyCBC Live gravitational-wave search pipeline.
During my PhD I completed two 3-month internships, first in 2021 as a Data Scientist at Shell and the second in 2023 as a Data Scientist at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
After my PhD I rejoined the ICG as a Space Software Technician, tasked with developing, maintaining and administering the ICG's new Kubernetes cluster for the CPD Space Data and AI course. This continued into a Research Software Engineer role working on Computer Vision for road detection in disaster affected regions.
