Description of Activity

Invited to deliver a short course on 'Fundamentals of Human Response to Vibration' for postgraduate students in China with full expenses met by the host - the Institute of Astronautics and Aeronautics at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in Chengdu, China. It has been a key 211 University in engineering.

The main activity would be to discuss collaboration in terms of scholar/PhD visits to Portsmouth in areas of my interests. These might cover human motion assessment for manned flights at UESTC.

The date for the course is between 23rd June and 4th July. After that I am expecting to work with some PhD students and researchers at UESTC in two weeks from 10th July to around 24th July and identify areas of common interest.
