Description of Activity
University of Portsmouth / Exia.CESI / Aalborg Universitet Esbjerg Game Jam 2011A week-long Game Jam (game-making competition) for students of Exia.CESI (France) and Aalborg Universitet (Denmark). Arranged by Neil Dansey in collaboration with CESI staff and funded by staff mobility via ERASMUS. Neil was also accompanied by three students from UoP who went to various centres to help with communication and local organisation. Approximately 150 students across 11 CESI schools got into teams and took part in a problem-based game development scenario simultaneously, competing for national awards in a number of categories. Guest lecture also provided by Neil Dansey. Resulted in local TV coverage in several regions of France.
